【Synopsis】
In 1898, the sailing ship Ryusui Maru encountered a great storm and ran aground in the Pacific Ocean, leading them to a deserted island!
The boat carrying the escaped crew washed up on a small island surrounded by coral reefs.
It was a tiny island with no drinking water, no food, and no trees.

Captain Nakagawa said:
"From today, under strict discipline, the 16 of us must unite as one, living each day with a strong heart, joyfully, and truly like men, without shame."

To once again set foot on their homeland, the crew united to begin their life on the deserted island.
First, they secured water and fire, built a lookout tower to signal for rescue, and created a turtle farm for food. As they became accustomed to this life, they studied to prepare for future voyages, interacted with seabirds and seals, and faced the beautiful nature around them.

Day by day, they devised ways to help each other and survive as Japanese men.
Will the 16 of them be able to return alive to Japan?
